MICHELLE DAY
Michelle holds a Master's Degree in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management, as well as a Master’s Certificate in Homeland Security from Eastern Kentucky University. With over 18 years of experience, she has developed expertise in a wide range of operational areas, including scheduling, logistical support, productivity tracking, data management, contracting, and regulatory compliance. Michelle’s previous role involved overseeing Homeland Security training programs, where she gained extensive experience in program management and coordination. Currently, she applies her skills and knowledge in her work with a nonprofit organization, further expanding her ability to lead and adapt across diverse sectors. As the primary point of contact for those seeking assistance or making inquiries, Michelle leverages her extensive experience in coordinating complex operations to ensure smooth communication and eLicient service delivery. Her background in managing Homeland Security training programs has honed her skills in logistics, data management, and coordination, making her a vital asset in supporting Fletcher Group’s eLorts to expand recovery services and residences. Outside of work, Michelle is passionate about women’s self-defense and has dedicated over a decade to training in Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, and weapons training. She enjoys sharing her knowledge by teaching both individual and group self-defense classes in Laurel and the surrounding counties. Additionally, Michelle loves golfing, spending time with her family and dog, and unwinding on the water whenever possible.
