William (Bill) Bigelow joins CENTURY 21 Advantage after owning Lake Cumberland Realty since 1980. A Tecumseh, Michigan native, Bigelow attended Marquette University and Michigan State University. Bill proudly served in the Untied States Navy.
Bill and his wife, Nancy, along with sons Brad and Brett moved to Somerset in 1972 with Tecumseh Products Company. Prior positions held were Budget Director for the Power Productions division in Grafton, Wisconsin, Cost Analyst in the Tecumseh Michigan plant, Budget Director in the Somerset Division until being promoted to Assistant General Manager, a position he held until he left in 1978 to pursue a new career in real estate. In 1980 Bill and Nancy purchased Lake Cumberland Realty. Bill obtained his Kentucky Real Estate Broker’s license in 1995 and has been active in the sale and property management of real estate in the Lake Cumberland area.
Bill is married to the former Nancy Jean Corl of Monroe, Michigan. They have two sons Brad (Johnna) of Somerset and Brett (Tuesday) of Scottsboro, Alabama and two fantastic grandkis, Braden and Brynlee of University of Kentucky!
Bill enjoys playing golf, boating, swimming, gardening, traveling, playing with his grandkids and playing cards.
While living in Somerset, Bill has been involved in several community organizations from Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Big Brothers and Sisters, Hospice, Somerset Lake Cumberland Association of Realtors, and Woodson Bend Resort Board of Directors. He attends Eagle Heights Church where he serves on his Pastor’s Cabinet.
Bill has 40 years of experience in the real estate industry, and looks forward to his affiliation with CENTURY 21. They are one of the leading International real estate companies and he looks forward to working with his friends and customers.
